The BÄRENWALD Arbesbach, the first bear project of FOUR PAWS, was opened in 1998 and expanded in 2009. Visitors can experience the majesty of the animals in their natural surroundings while learning about the many different aspects of a bear?s life.

There are currently six brown bears living in a total area of 14,000 square meters. Marbu, Austria?s last circus bear, also found a new home here.
